ABOUT ME:
Living and Growing is just a blog about my experiences and the lessons I’ve learned. It isn’t meant to make me famous but to share my thoughts and ideas with others on a platform that isn’t saturated by likes and photos. I’m still debating where to take this; I just wanted to create something fun for myself. When I originally came up with this idea, I was a 27-year-old college student. My fellow college students would ask me about life, like moving out and the associated cost. These are things they could have asked their parents or older siblings, but they felt more comfortable asking me. So, I thought about writing a blog called “Moving and Growing.” My slogan was “Like mountains, we don’t grow overnight” (clearly needed work). I never did anything back then, so here we are six years later… I hope you enjoy reading my random stories, thoughts, and lessons learned.
The mountains symbolize growth, time, and the scars left behind by experiences and lessons. We aren’t perfect, but with enough work and constant growth (no matter how small at a time), we can achieve our personal goals. Let me remind you, Mount Everest grows by about 4mm (0.16in) per year.
